Personal History Amborsae was born in Mantala, a village that was full of warriors. Her father was the leader of the village, and her mother was an archer who was known for her skills. But Amborsae, born as Bal-Kar, wasn't interested in war. Even as a young man, he loved to draw instead of fighting. Bal-dor wasn't pleased, but his mother encouraged the art.

By the age of 20, Bal-Kar was considered the village's best artist, and was given leave to teach art to others. His mother convinced his father that their village would benefit from artistry. It was his passion, and he spent all his time at it. He didn't want to learn to fight, although he did learn to shoot a bow so he could hunt when needed.

Bal-Kar had a secret, though; he wanted to be a female, not a male. He had his own private home just away from the village, where he would dress in female clothing, and use make up to look feminine. It was when he felt happiest; dressed in his dresses and drawing.

Bal-Kar wanted permission to find a magic user to assist with the transition, and so finally, at the age of 50, he came out to his mother as wanting to be a woman. She supported him, but kept it a secret as his father wouldn't have understood. She was helping him learn about his, or rather, her true self.

However, tragedy struck when Bal-Kar was 59. As he was in the nearby mountains, drawing a new picture for the village hall, she saw smoke and heard screams. He ran to the village, only to see it on fire, and the villagers dead, with another tribe, the Nanturan's, looting. He was seen, but he escaped and kept fleeing as fast as he could.

His journey took him through the land, alone, and was able to hunt to survive, but he was losing hope of finding anywhere to survive. He wasn't sure who he could trust, after being ignored and shunned for being from somewhere else. Seven months later, at the age of 60, Bal-Kar was attacked by wild animals, and whilst he survived, he was weakened and found himself on the edge of a large estate. He wanted help, but he collapsed from hunger and pain. He was found by Lushian and Kashian Lyrius, who took pity on him and helped him to their estate, asking for permission to let him stay. He was healed, and remained as part of the estate.

Within a year, Lushian and Kashian, who saw Bal-Kar as part of their family, finally got him to reveal his secret desire to be a woman. The two were happy to help, and dressed him up. Seeing how happy he was, they all went to Almalthea, who agreed to help with her magic to transition Bal-Kor to become female.

The process was a long one, taking a year and a half, during which time Bal-Kar was given a new name as well as being fully adopted by the Lyrius family. Miali, the priest of Aura who had been the priest of the family for a long time, having named Amalthea, as well as Lushian and Kashian, remade her stars, cutting her former destiny and allowing a new one to form. He also guided the deeper spiritual aspect of the transition, and was given a new name; Amborsae Lyrius.

By the end of the transition, Amborsae was a sister to Lushian and Kashian, and spent all of her time with the two. She still draws and has fully embraced her new family.
