| Personal History | Born the only legitimate son to King Avsard. By age 15, trained with the Royal Knights of Lankhmar. At age 16, his father arranged a marriage between Asvard and the Kingdom of Stywich. Marriage to take place on the prince's 21 birthday. At age 18, led the Knights of Lankhmar against the great army of Ogres. Prince Avsard led the knights to a great victory by defeating the larger army of Orges. Prince Avsard earned the name: The Slayer of Ogres. King Asvrad had, at this time, developed a fondness for younger women, girls actually, ages 17 and younger. The King would send his knights out to search the neigboring towns for all young girls, 13 and over, and have them brought to his castle. The knights would leave a small bag os silver and gold in payment for the females. The prince, disgusted at his fathers behavior, left the castle and started a search......to try and form an aliance of races to topple his father. While on his travels. he came across a young girl, who was being mistreated by a man. The prince pulled his sword and made the man run away. The girl, who wouldn't speak, wrote out her name as "Korena". By her appearance, the girl had been physically and mentally abused. So not wanting to leave her to be abused again, he allowed her to travel with him, as his groom. Asvard had heard of a legend of a great castle in the north, hearing that the people there were fair. Hoping to forge an alliance, he started north. |
